Aldeia dos Araras em Rondônia/Brasil // Macaw Village in Rondônia/Brazil
Esse ano eu resolvi passar meu aniversário de forma diferente e fui junto com minha família em uma aldeia indígena na floresta amazônica no estado de Rondônia no Brasil. Tenho familiares em Rondônia e fazia algum tempo que estávamos querendo visitar eles e aproveitamos meu último mês aqui no Brasil e o meu aniversário para ir para lá.
No dia do meu aniversário fomos conhecer a aldeia dos araras e eles ficaram muito felizes de receber a gente e de ter escolhido lá para passar o meu aniversário. Tive a oportunidade de nadar com os índiozinhos, eles me ensinaram a caçar peixe com arco e flecha, andamos na floresta para conhecer algumas árvores nativas e foi um tempo muito bom! Pudemos orar pela família do cacique e por todas que moravam lá, abençoando aquele povo e que eles experimentem do amor de Deus! O filho do cacique já conhecia Jesus e já tinha entregado seu coração e estava apaixonado por Jesus! Que todos ali possam conhecer esse Deus tão maravilhoso ali!
This year I decided to have a different day on my birthday and I went with my family to an indigenous village in the Amazon forest in the state of Rondônia in Brazil. I have relatives in Rondônia and for some time we were wanting to visit them and as is my last month here in Brazil and my birthday, we decided to go there.
On the day of my birthday we went to the macaw village (aldeia dos araras) and they were very happy to receive us and have chosen there to spend my birthday. I had the opportunity to swim with the little Indians, they taught me how to hunt fish with bow and arrow, we walked in the forest to meet some native trees and it was a very good time! We were able to pray for the cacique's family and for all those who lived there, bless those people and let them experience the love of God! The cacique's son already knew Jesus and had already surrendered his heart and was in love with Jesus! May all there know this wonderful God!
